Country Funk
1970
Al MacUmber Lead Guitar, Vocals
Eric McDow Drums
Owen Carroll Rhythm Guitar, Vocals
John Adamski Bass, Vocals
This short-lived band evolved from "The Move" with the addition of Owen Carroll. Unfortunately, their name evoked thoughts of country music yet they played soft rock and pop. As such, the public did not respond well and the band broke up.John left the business, while Owen went on to form "Goldrush", a band
in the style of Crosby, Stills & Nash. Al has toured with Rita MacNeil
and plays today in live theater bands, among other projects.
Eric went on to play in "Spice". Today, he has his own business:
EMD Artist Representation.
